Courtney Contreras, MPAS, PA-C, Show Low, Arizona
She Built Something Better
MPAS, PA-C. Emergency medicine and surgery background. Founder of VitaLife Longevity Medicine. The provider who sits with you, runs the right labs, and picks up her phone.
Where It Started
Courtney's career started in the places where medicine moves fast. Emergency rooms. Operating rooms. The kind of environments where decisions happen in seconds and there's no room for guesswork.
She spent years in general and vascular surgery and emergency medicine. She learned how to read a situation quickly, connect symptoms that other providers might miss, and stay calm when things get complicated. That training is in everything she does at VitaLife Longevity Medicine.
But working in those systems also showed her what was broken. Patients cycling through 10-minute visits. Providers who didn't have time to listen. Lab work that checked the boxes but missed the story. People getting told their numbers were "normal" when they knew something was off.
She didn't want to keep watching that happen.

Why Courtney Contreras Started VitaLife Longevity Medicine
She Built the Practice She Couldn't Find
Courtney moved to the White Mountains and saw a community that deserved better healthcare options. Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Snowflake, Springerville. People were driving hours for the kind of care that should exist in their own backyard.
So she built it.
VitaLife Longevity Medicine started as an IV therapy practice. But Courtney kept seeing the same thing: patients walking in for a drip and mentioning symptoms that nobody had bothered to investigate. Fatigue that wouldn't quit. Weight gain that didn't make sense. Brain fog, mood changes, sleep problems. All connected, and nobody was connecting the dots.
She shifted the entire practice to a Direct Primary Care membership model. Longer visits. Thorough labs. Hormone therapy, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, functional wellness, and primary care, all under one roof. A practice where she could sit with her patients, review every lab value, and build a plan that fit their life (not a 10-minute template).
Courtney Contreras PA-C Credentials and Approach
The Provider Who Connects the Dots
Courtney is the person you text when something feels off. She's the provider who remembers what you talked about last visit. She connects your hormones to your energy, your sleep to your weight, your stress to your labs, because those things are never separate.
She has additional training in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, anti-aging protocols, and functional medicine. She's not treating one symptom at a time. She's looking at the full picture and asking why.
Her patient panel is small on purpose. She doesn't see 30 people a day. She sees you.
When She's Not at VitaLife Longevity Medicine
Courtney is a mom, an outdoor adventurist, and a hobby artist. If you can't reach her by phone on a day off, she's riding her horse or out playing with her camera somewhere in the White Mountains. She speaks at healthcare conferences around the country and is building partnerships to bring longevity-focused medicine to more communities.
She lives the same active, outdoor lifestyle her patients do. That's not a marketing line. It's why she gets it.
